I'm done with organized systems that weed out the very people they were intended to help.
I'm done with wasting people's time. I'm done with fruitless pursuits of excellence not for the sake of glorifying God, but for the sake of "Shouldn't we be more organized?" I'm done with thinking that this is an organization, instead of an organism.
In short, I'm done with creating programs to manage organic relationships. I repent of thinking that I could better manage what only the Holy Spirit can orchestrate.
Moreover, I'm done with "owning" ministry projects, with slave-driving efforts that were supposed to bring life and have only ushered in death. I confess my own monopoly on leadership in the church and lay it down before the foot of the cross. While I'm okay with being a "catalyst," I'm done with being a leader.
To prove this, I'm opening this blog up to anyone who wants to write a piece. I'm done with being the boss of a fellowship. I want to take my rightful place as the hand, or whatever I might be, and allow Christ his rightful place as the Head.
If you're done with being pushed around by bureaucrats, then this post is speaking to you.
If you want to contribute to "I'm Done With..." post a comment here, be sure to fill out your email address (this will only be viewed by our admins) in the the appropriate field, and we'll get back to you.
I am done with all the bureaucracy, and I couldn't be happier.
